This year’s event theme, “Making a Difference” focuses on the high impact of affordable housing, making a difference in both lives and communities across New York state. As always your support of our event sustains NYCH’s programs and operations. Some of the work that your support has funded includes:
- NYC Housing Tracker- NYHC speaks up for housing and tracks production by Council District.
- United for Housing- NYHC’s United for Housing coalition achieved a 25% increase in City capital for HPD, with 75% of their recommendations adopted in Mayor Adam’s new housing plan.
- State Housing Plan Budget Advocacy- After NYHC issued a report on housing need and a call for increased funding, NYS adopted a $5.7B new 5-year housing plan, nearly double the previous plan.
- Rising Leaders Network- With 500+ members and monthly events, RLN offers early to mid-career professionals leadership and networking opportunities. New members are always welcome.
- Networking & Policy Convenings- Throughout the year, NYHC hosts forums for housing experts and practitioners to connect on key housing issues through discussions and symposiums.
