Viviana Gordon is the Director of Housing Justice Initiatives at the Center for Justice Innovation. She leads a portfolio of projects in both courts and communities to advance housing stability and access to justice throughout New York, including the Harlem Community Justice Center and the Eviction Diversion Initiative. Ms. Gordon is also a national technical assistance provider with the Housing Justice Peer Network, in partnership with the Furman Center's Housing Solutions Lab, supporting jurisdictions to develop policy solutions to challenges at the nexus of housing and the criminal legal system. Ms. Gordon has worked in community justice for nearly two decades, primarily at the Red Hook and Brownsville Community Justice Centers in Brooklyn, where she co-created and implemented initiatives to foster safe, thriving communities and build a fairer justice system.
