Laura Lazarus co-founded Anthos|Home in 2022 with over 30 years of experience in New York City’s affordable housing world, both a developer and a leader in the nonprofit and government sectors. The innovative nonprofit partners with government agencies, nonprofits, and housing providers to help New Yorkers with housing vouchers, who are either in shelter or at risk of homelessness, quickly move into affordable housing, as well as provide housing stability services to help those families remain housed for the
long term.

Lazarus formerly served as COO of Telesis Corporation, Executive Director of Lantern Community Services, Chief Program Officer at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, and is a former Deputy Commissioner of the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development. She serves on the board of directors of HeartShare St. Vincent’s Services, leading its housing committee, and previously served as president of Women in Housing
and Finance.

Lazarus holds an A.B. from Princeton University and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
