Atalia Howe is the SVP of Program Management for CPC Climate Capital, a newly created subsidiary of the Community Preservation Corporation (CPC), a nonprofit affordable housing and community revitalization finance company based in New York City. Prior to this new role, Atalia was the VP of Initiatives and Impact Investing at CPC where she oversaw CPC’s Sustainability Department, supporting CPC’s role as a leader in promoting sustainable buildings, as well as CPC’s Impact Investing business, focused on making triple-bottom line investments in support of CPC’s three overarching impact goals: affordability, reducing the racial wealth gap, and supporting the green economy. Prior to joining CPC, Atalia was a Sustainability Manager at EcoAct, a global sustainability consultancy, where she worked with businesses to develop and implement innovative carbon reduction strategies. Atalia has an MSc in Economic Development and Environmental Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations. She is fluent in Spanish and Italian.
